We are announcing planned core engineering works that will affect some of our Giganet Core services.

Affecting: All Services.

Service Impact: At risk - no outage anticipated

Tasks: The carrier has located a suspect patch cable on their dark fibre between Telehouse North and DDCL Tutis Point. In order to avoid any unexpected interruptions to service, this cable will be replaced urgently and all connectors cleaned during this window. We expect to lose one of 3 core links during this time period for 10 Minutes. Services will fail over to the other core links.

We apologise for any inconvenience this planned engineering works causes.
Planned engineering works are required from time-to-time to ensure that the network remains stable, high-performing and resilient.
